Fall Out Boy to headline charity concert to protest gun violence
Fall Out Boy is headlining a benefit concert at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. to protest gun violence. The show, dubbed Stay Amped: A Concert to End Gun Violence, takes place Friday, March 23.
"This is the time for action," Fall Out Boy says. "Join us in the fight against gun violence for the Stay Amped benefit show."
Stay Amped will also feature performances from rapper G-Eazy, pop singer Bebe Rexha and hip-hop artist Lizzo. Tickets will go on sale this Wednesday, March 14 at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketfly.
The concert will be held the day before the March for Our Lives in Washington, D.C., a student-led demonstration organized in response to the February 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
Many other cities across the U.S. will be holding their own marches as well. For more info, visit MarchforOurLives.com.
