Beastie Boys detail 592-page book, due out in October
Back in 2013, surviving Beastie Boys members Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz and Michael "Mike D" Diamond signed a deal to write a memoir. Five years later, the book will finally arrive this fall on October 30, in all of its 592-page glory.
The massive tome, simply titled Beastie Boys Book, will feature Horovitz and Diamond telling the story of the New York City trio in their own words. To accompany that story, the book will include a variety of photos, original illustrations, a graphic novel, a Beastie-specific map of NYC, mixtape playlists and even a cookbook.
Horovitz and Diamond also recruited a few guest contributors for the book, including Amy Poehler and directors Spike Jonze and Wes Anderson.
Beastie Boys Book is available for pre-order now via BeastieBoysBook.com.
