Foo Fighters are celebrating the release of their new album, Concrete and Gold, with a miniature, animated documentary detailing how the record came together.
In the six-minute clip, a cartoon Dave Grohl narrates how he met Greg Kurstin, who's worked with Adele and Sia, and asked him to produce Concrete and Gold. He also describes how people like Justin Timberlake, Alison Mosshart of The Kills, and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men ended up guesting on the album. You can watch the doc now on YouTube.

Marilyn Manson has premiered the video for his new single, "We Know Where You F****** Live," the first single from the shock-rocker's forthcoming album, Heaven Upside Down.
In true Marilyn Manson form, the video is stacked with sex and violence -- this time thanks to army of gun-toting nuns -- and even comes with an "explicit content" warning. You can watch the clip -- and if you do, we suggest you don't watch at work -- now on YouTube.

The wait is finally over. The new Foo Fighters album, Concrete and Gold, is here.
It was a bit of a surprise when Foo Fighters first announced Concrete and Gold over the summer, especially since the band was battling rumors of their break-up as recently as a year ago. They dismissed those in March 2016 with a comic video declaring, "for the millionth time, we're not breaking up."
Even so, the Foos remained pretty quiet throughout 2016 as they recovered from the massive tour behind their last album, 2014's Sonic Highways. Secretly, though, they were working on a new record.…

"Don't miss your chance to see Dave Mustaine greet his fans this Friday at 9:45am outside on the NYSE facade balcony," reads a Facebook post.
Perhaps Mustaine will be there selling peace, but that only begs the question: who's buying?
Beginning tonight in Reading, Pennsylvania, Megadeth will join Scorpions on the North American leg of the German rockers' Crazy World tour. Mustaine and company will be supporting their 2016 album, Dystopia, which gave the band their first Grammy…
Radiohead is teaming up with famed film composer Hans Zimmer to create a reworked version of the band's song "Bloom," which originally appeared on the 2011 album The Kings of Limbs.
The new version of the track, titled "(ocean) bloom," was recorded for the upcoming new installment of the BBC's Planet Earth nature documentary series, Planet Earth: Blue Planet II.
"'Bloom' was inspired by the original Blue Planet series so it’s great to be able to come full circle with the song and reimagine it for this incredible landmark's sequel," says frontman Thom Yorke. "Hans is a prodigious composer who effortlessly straddles…

If you ever wanted to own the microphone Kurt Cobain used when he sang "Heart-Shaped Box," now's your chance. Recording engineer and producer Steve Albini is auctioning off three microphones used during the recording of Nirvana's final album, 1993's In Utero.
The mics include two Lomo 19A9s, which were used as overheads for Dave Grohl's drum tracks, and an Electro-Voice PL20, which, along with one of the Lomos, was used to record Cobain's vocals.
"They stopped being microphones and now they're artifacts," says Albini, who produced In Utero. "I feel like I should get them into the hands of somebody who…

After breaking his leg during a concert in Gothenburg, Sweden, Dave Grohl was able to finish the concert thanks to a member of the venue's on-site medical team, who helped prop up his leg so he could finish the show. Now, Grohl and the medic have run into each other again.
