BallZach's Bio
Name: Zachariah Pukel (BALLZach)

Hometown: Beardsfork, West Virginia (Ever heard of it? Didn’t think so.)

Birthday: December 18th, 1989

Why I got into radio: I get paid to talk about rock music. I get to meet my heroes. It’s a dream job.

Other jobs I’ve had: Fast food, Barnes & Noble, paper mill, BORING BORING BORING.

Hobbies: I’m a musician. I read voraciously. I attend more concerts than I can count every year.

Obsessions: Trust me when I tell you that you would rather not know.

Strange Phobias: Waking up naked next to Cutter.

Favorite Movies: Godfather, Pink Floyd’s The Wall, Army of Darkness etc.

Favorite TV Shows: I don’t watch much TV. However, if I have to choose, I’d say Tales From The Crypt.

Best Concert: Damn. I dreaded this question. Uhm….Mastodon played the Rave a couple of years back. Dillinger Escape Plan and Red Fang opened up. I watched Brent Hinds come out and perform Sunshine The Werewolf with Dillinger. It was ridiculous. By that, I mean ridiculously awesome.

Death Row Meal: Easy. My grandmothers Baked Steak, fresh salad out of the garden, mashed potatoes and corn on the cobb. A side of her shanty bread as well. If you don’t know what that is, I feel sorry for you.

Cartoon character I’d most like to have sex with: Typical answer. Jessica Rabbit. Although, Lola Bunny has some fond memories of my childhood.

Favorite Monkey: Cutter.

Random Radio Memory: Rock USA 2014. I was the intern for Razor and got asked to go pick up Phil Labonte from All That Remains from his trailer for his interview. He comes out chugging a bottle of vodka and asks if he can drive the golf cart. I say SURE. We proceed to do wheelies backstage for half an hour and piss of security something fierce.

If I could have any superpower: Read peoples' minds or fly.

Quote: It’s not the light we need but fire; it is not the gentle shower, but thunder. We need the storm, the whirlwind, and the earthquake.

What I’m listening to: Mastodon, Clutch, Dillinger Escape Plan, Corrosion of Conformity and Death.

What I’m watching: If I told you that, I’d have to kill you.

What I’m reading: I’m a hardcore James Bond fan. I’m in the middle of a re-read of Live and Let Die.

What I’d rather be doing: Again. I’d have to kill you.
